After a sultry weekend in London and with the promise of further soaring temperatures on the way, my thoughts have turned to those books that cause my skin to tingle as the heat of the summer sun seeps through the pages

    I just saw Gatsby as a movie and I haven’t read it since high school. Maybe due to these summer temperatures I need to reread that next. : ) Thanks for the recommendations.

    I really enjoyed ‘The Book of Summers’, in fact you’ve prompted me to dig it out for a 2nd read!

      Enjoy it second time around Susan! It was one of my favourite books of last year. Have you read Emylia Halls latest ‘A Heart Bent Out of Shape’? Its on my reading list for this summer.
