If you are in America or Mexico chances are you will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo. If you are in the UK, chances are you won’t have heard of this celebration.
Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over the French forces of Napoleon III on May 5, 1862, at the Battle of Puebla. Today this victory is marked with Mexican food and Margaritas. Sounds like a good way to celebrate to me
As I’m feeling in a celebratory mood myself I thought I would share this recipe for this Mexican inspired cocktail the classic Margarita. It’s from the ever reliable BBC Good Food.
