LISTEN: Desert Island Discs
Desert Island Discs is 75 and to celebrate it’s 75th programme, David Beckham will be the castaway guest this Sunday. I’m a great fan of desert island discs and we regularly download them to listen to on long car journeys. I also listen when indulging in a bit of weekend kitchen pottering. The castaway archive has enough to keep you entertained for weeks.
WRITE:
In preparation for February which just happens to be International Correspondence Writing Month or InCoWriMo, I have been thinking quite a bit about letters this week. InCoWriMo challenges you to hand-write and mail/deliver one letter, card, note or postcard every day during the month of February. Emails are all well and good but nothing beats the sending or receiving of a personal hand written letter or card. Read more about InCoWriMo here. I’m thinking I shall take part this year. Anyone else fancy joining me?
WATCH & CREATE
I love instagram and as I have become a more dedicated blogger my interest in photography and desire to take better pictures has grown. I certainly need and am very keen to get all the tips I can on creating the perfect shot. I have found some great inspiration watching these excellent videos from Make Light. Emily’s flat lays and use of props in her pictures are just beautiful. I defy you to watch them and not be inspired.
