The Weekend Wander #8 Embrace the Mundane

The Houses of Parliament

Two days ago in London, innocent people lost their lives.  Those people left their homes on a normal Wednesday morning.  May be they waved good bye, or kissed those they loved. Maybe they didn’t, maybe they were running late, maybe they were cross or frustrated. We will never know.  Whichever it was,  those people left home without knowing they would never return, or never again see those they adored or those who drove them crazy.  It was a normal day, except it wasn’t. People died. Life changing injuries were sustained; mental scars were etched on the innocent and families were shattered.

This weekend, hold your friends and family close, tell them you love them, embrace the mundane, be thankful and find joy in each day.
