The Weekend Wander #13 Talking Stationery

Stationery

As anyone who knows me will confirm I am rarely early to anything (except work surprisingly).  I tend to always think I can fit in one more thing before leaving the house. Or, despite my best intentions I become distracted and time runs away with me.  That doesn’t mean I am necessarily late for anything it just means I often arrive at places a little breathless.

So true to form, the week after National Stationery Week ended, here I am a little breathless but nonetheless enthusiastically posting  about stationery.  Not that I am ever unenthusiastic about stationery.  Its the weekend with shopping opportunities aplenty so let me introduce you to some of my favourite places to buy a little stationery pick me up should you be needing it.

Fox and Star

I love Fox and Star and they are my go to place for planners and replenishing washi tape supplies.  In fact I don’t think I have ever come across a better selection of washi tape.  It’s always worth checking out the sale section, if your looking to replenish stocks.

The Green Gables

I adore The Green Gables and have had lots of happy exchanges with Gabrielle the creator and founder when making purchases.  I love a list and The Green Gables have  a fab selection of notepads for lists.  I am the proud owner of the weekly meal planner notepad and the My To Do List pad.  I use both regularly.  I am a big fan of this happy style of stationery and always look forward to the arrival of anything I have ordered.

Kikki.K

Kikki.K is a more recent discovery.  Kikki.k is Swedish, so very on trend if you are bothered by such things.  It is also stylish, and covetable with some particualry lovely letter writing sets.  I bought one in a sale when I was embarking on my month of letter writing earlier in the year.  Apart from the online store if you want a more tactile experience they have a great store in Covent Garden

Papermash

Abounding with pretty paper and stockists of the beautiful Rifle paper stationery.  They also have a great blog with lots of suggestions for papery creative endeavours

And finally….

Jocelyn at The Reading Residence is organising another stationery swap.  For the small price of £5 you have the opportunity to share the stationery love and receive a surprise package of stationery in the post during the month of May.  I have taken part on a couple of occasions previously and have just signed up to do so again.  You can find all the details here.  I know Jocelyn would love to hear from you.

Have a papery, stationery filled weekend X

Oh this is a dangerous list, I’ve looked on a couple of the links and have already seen so much I would love! Can’t get enough of stationary, I have a little basket full of notebooks at the side of my bed just waiting for me 😉
