This is the year of bookcase (among other things). I have wobbly stacks of books in various nooks and crannies dotted around my house all in need of a permanent home. I’m dreaming of floor to ceiling built in shelving filled with colourful spines. Books waiting to be plucked from the shelves and flicked through or devoured. Shelves for poetry, shelves for travel books, shelves for classics and shelves for those books I should probably give to charity but just can’t bear to part with. I would be very happy with any of these looks for my books!
