I am about to go on holiday so have been taken up with making plans and preparing lately. As usual I have been a bit last minute. If you are a bit more organised than me you might find the following suggestions helpful.
WHERE TO GO
Even if you don’t plan to book a holiday with Exodus travel, the Exodus Travel Blog is a great way of seeking inspiration for your next adventure. We have travelled with Exodus all over the world, to far flung destinations in China, Vietnam, Cuba, Nepal and more and have had some fabulous experiences
PACKING
This is not something I particularly excel at but I would like to be better. For suggestions on this and all other travel related questions have a look at the informative Awesome Wave Blog. It is written by Elizabeth from Rosaillium and her partner, so you can guarantee reliable honest information
SUMMER WARDROBE
I have just discovered Aspiga, unfortunately too late for the trip I am about to take. But I am really taken by the range of beachy dresses and leather sandals. Floaty fabrics, gorgeous colours and beads. Aspiga is also a fairtrade company with all their suppliers coming from small workforces based in Kenya and India. I will definitly try and be more organised next time I’m buying holiday clothes.
HOLIDAY READING
Holidays are the perfect opportunity to indulge yourself with new books and completely loose yourself in a great novel in a way it can sometimes be tricky to do when coping with the daily pressures of life. If you are feeling a little overwhelmed by the huge array of books on offer these days, then I would recommend looking at the Richard and Judy Book Club for some reliable suggestions. Of course you could always look through the Changing Pages bookish pages for other reading suggestions!
I will be taking a little break from Changing Pages for the next week or so to soak up some sunshine and discover new places , but look forward to being back here soon with pictures and stories from my travels.
Have a great time Angie xx
