New Pillows
We have not changed our pillows for more years than I care to remember. Last weekend we bought new ones. Bliss. I hadn’t realised how often I had been waking up with neck ache until this week of soft pillows.
Snowdrops
Seeing snowdrops is always a treat. So pretty and delicate with their bobbing heads, but deceptively strong as they withstand the biting winds and freezing temperatures of winter. My favourite place to see them is in a tiny, ‘blink and you’ve missed it’ village in Norfolk called South Pickenham where grow in abundance. They surround the church, they are scattered along the grassy verges, and carpet a small copse where the ground dips and and where my husband was always convinced Stig of the Dump lived. I always look out for them when I drive to my mums at this time of year and as I passed by them on Saturday morning I know I was smiling as they nodded gently at me.
Barnum at The Menier Chocolate Factory
The Menier chocolate factory is probably my favourite theatre in London. This week we saw Barnum starring Marcus Brigstocke as Barnum and a cast of very talented dancers and acrobats. This high energy performance brimming with cartwheels, tight rope walking, fire eating, giant elephants and mermaids was so much fun.
Wishing you a week filled with small moments of joy
I know what you mean about the pillows Angie – I’m afraid I have to change mine at least once a year!! My pet hate is old pillows!! I have to take my own when we go away or wrap the hotel ones in many towels xxx

I know, it is hard to find the perfect pillow in a hotel, I can imagine you wrapping them in towels!!
