Blossom
After waiting quite some time, for spring it arrived and then promptly disappeared again. In true British style, temperatures went from being suddenly uncharacteristically warm to just as suddenly uncharacteristically cold. However the warm snap has resulted in lots of gorgeous blossom which I have really enjoyed photographing. A wander through Holland Park and Notting Hill earlier in the week provided plenty of blossom photo opportunities.
The Art of Vanessa Bell
One of my cultural highlights last year was a visit to an exhibition of the work of Vanessa Bell at Dulwich Picture Gallery. Last week I managed to catch a much smaller exhibition of hers and Duncan Grants work at the Piano Nobile Gallery in Holland Park. It was brilliant to see some gorgeous pieces in such a small space. A real treat.
National Stationery Week
One of my great joys this week was getting a daily email from The Forgotten Book Shop Girl full of stationery related news and ideas and some wonderful tutorials. I have saved all the emails and plan to catch up with them properly in the next couple of days.
