Day 13 – Pitshanger Books
A gentle push of the door to Pitshanger Bookshop and you are welcomed into a warm and cozy store. Pitshanger Bookshop is very much a part of the local Ealing community and the booksellers do a great job in promoting local authors and stocking their work on their shelves.
The wooden shelves are well stocked and well organised and tables of books sit on colourul rugs, all adding to the homely feel. This is a very easy book shop to work your way around and find just what you might be looking for. On my recent visit I was searching for poetry and loved the range I came across here. This is a great place to shop for gifts that aren’t just bookish. I bought a pretty jigsaw as a gift recently and there is a great greeting card selection too.
Pitshanger books is everything a local bookshop should be, relaxed, friendly and full of interesting books that won’t necessarily be on all the best seller lists.
