Changing Pages Extra – A Newsletter and More

It’s been a busy little time behind the scenes at Changing Pages recently. You may have noticed a few changes, the most significant being the lovely new logo at the top of this page.  It was designed by Louise from a company called Verde Creative.  I met Louise through an online creative group I have been part of for some time now so it was lovely to work with her.  She really understood what I want Changing pages to stand for and I feel encapsulated it all in the cheerful logo she created for me.  I love it, I hope you do too.

The other change you may have noticed as you hopped onto my blog today or in recent days is a little pop up  box offering you the opportunity to sign up to receive my new Changing Pages Newsletter.  Producing a newsletter is something I have wanted to do for some time now.  My original intention was to send out the first edition in May.  With one thing and another (a global pandemic) I didn’t have the focus, and it was put on hold for a  little while.  However, 5 months later than intended it is landing in folk’s inboxes today.  I am so excited, and if I am honest, just a little bit proud.  I am not particularly technically minded when it comes to the digital trickery and behind the scenes stuff that goes into the lovely creative part.  It has taken a lot of googling, perseverance and help from my husband who happens to be much better (thankfully) at the technical wizardry.  He’s also very patient too!

The monthly Changing Pages newsletter will include a big dose of quiet London, with lots of cultural and London literary inspiration too.  I really don’t want it to be another pointless email to clog up your inbox.  We all get far too many of them.  So I will work really hard to make it interesting and something you even look forward to receiving.

In response to the questions and comments I often receive about the places I post about here, and on instagram,  I am putting together a guide to all the quiet London places I love to visit .  This is just for newsletter subscribers so do sign up if you would like to receive it.

Writing is becoming an ever bigger part of my life and I have lots of things I want to share with you here. So, as the nights get darker and the days get shorter in my little corner of west London, I shall be lighting a candle or two, making a cup of tea and writing away to my hearts content. I want to continue to fill these pages with all the things I know you love to read.

And finally…..I do want to say a very big THANK YOU to every one who so faithfully reads and comments on everything I put on here.  It really does make me smile and I really am very grateful indeed.  So once again thank you, thank you, thank you!

If would like to receive a monthly copy of my newsletter don’t forget to sign up here!
